Vintage Friction Drive Tinplate Toy Racing Car. MF 905 Made in China
What a wonderful Vintage Friction Drive Tinplate Toy Racing Car! Labelled on the box and car with MF 905 Made in China, and dates to the 1960s/70s.
The tinplate car is red in colour and has a green racing driver's head protruding from the top which, unusually, is made from rubber.
A great addition to a tinplate collection.
Approximate Car Size:
- length: 22 cm
- width: 8.5 cm
- Height: 6cm
Condition:
In very good unused original condition, the plastic body has some minor surface scuffs where it has been in contact with the cardboard box.
- Friction power is working
- All four tyres are intact
- Original Box, which has slightly discoloured with age and has some creasing.
I haven’t been able to find anything about the manufacturer. MF tends to refer to the type of toy, in this case, trucks and cars, whereas ME are military vehicles.
